The Healing Club was founded
in 1995 by Felisha Scott. We are the fastest growing
online support community for victims and survivors
of domestic violence on the web. The scope of the
Healing Club website is to connect people, and assist
in the “healing and rebuilding” process. Based on
volume and need, Healing Club (currently known as
Healing Club, Inc.) will extend its services to include
several areas in which the "healing and rebuilding"
process plays a vital role.

Felisha
K. Scott
founded the
Healing Club in 1995. At the age of 15, she became
a victim of domestic violence and a teen mother. She
was in a relationship with a physically, and mentally
abusive man; he also fathered her child. Felisha lived
with this person for two years before discovering
he was a convicted felon on parole for crimes committed
in another state. She later discovered that during
their relationship, he was a serial rapist. In January
of 1991, he was arrested, and in August of 1991, the
courts found him guilty on several counts of sexual
assault. He was sentenced to serve a 75-year prison
term. Felisha’s story is a complex one, but it has
spurred her desire to help others who have experienced
abuse of any kind.
Since the conviction of
her abusive partner, Felisha has had a successful
career. For more than 13 years she has been involved
with technology, having worked for major corporations
that include telecommunications, computer consulting,
manufacturing, and media.
In 2005, Felisha launched
a new company, 1 Click Industries which is an online
branding and marketing company specializing in unique
online directories, web development, and Internet
advertising.
Felisha received the
Women of Excellence Award, Entrepreneur of the Year
- 2005 by NAFE (National Association for Female Executives).
Through the Healing Club,
Felisha has been able to incorporate her love of technology
and passion for helping others. Felisha's goal for
the Healing Club is to become the largest online support
community in the world. With more than 500 members
signing up daily, she will surely succeed. THC covers
several areas, among them: domestic violence, teen
violence, rape, child abuse, and substance abuse.
The Healing Club has more than 10 million members
worldwide.
Felisha is very excited
about the new developments for the Healing Club, Inc.
organization and encourages people to continue to
